These two were giggling the whole time and such a fun carefree couple to work with. I even had the pleasure to sit inside a restaurant and chat with them when the rain got too heavy to continue our session. Matt is totally in love with Sara and you can tell. He told me the story of their engagement and he had it planned in extreme detail which didn't work out due to a snow storm that very same day he was planning on proposing. As told by Sara: "Matt had this grand plan to come to school and surprise me while I was teaching with ring pops for my class. Unfortunately, it was snowing pretty heavily and school had been cancelled the night before. Everyone seemed to know about said plan and had been texting him about what he was going to do now. I had no clue, but he wouldn't let me anywhere near his computer or phone. I was harassing him about it and he was not so kind. I mean, what else do you do, when you are stuck in a townhouse with a foot of snow outside? The morning of the 5th, I woke up at my usual time, 5:45; I am horrible at turning off my alarm. Matt was up making a ruckus. I thought he was trying to dig himself out to maybe go to work, so I rolled over for a few more minutes. Then, I heard a loud thud and decided I needed to go downstairs. I plopped myself on the couch and he brought me breakfast over a few minutes later. Matt normally does not do things like this; he handed me a card and I thought he was apologizing for not being nice the previous night. But, he was proposing. He got down on one knee in our living room while I was laying on the couch. haha."
