What makes your work different from other photographers’ work?

My photos are created exclusively using natural lighting as often as possible. Trusting me is the key to awesome candid images!

What do you mean when you say you are a “Natural light Photographer”?

That means I use the sun and the elements of light around me outdoors to capture the photographs I do. I have flashes that I will use on a wedding day when I need to.  But for the most part I will position my clients to find the best light and use a reflector/flashes if I have must.

What style would you call your Photography?

Lifestyle. I do my best to let things unfold the way that they may, but I will suggest moving and creating a scene to be sure it reflects the most beauty possible."Lifestyle photography is photojournalism redefined," says photographer Allan Zepeda. "It’s candid, yet done so with some direction and styling -- it has an approachable feel and a relaxed result." A good photographer will look for moments but also set the scene, says Zepeda.

Will we get the print right to our photos after our wedding?

Yes! Upon receiving your images, you will also get a print release.

How will I get all of my images?

I send your images to you through an online gallery called Pixieset. Pixieset is an online gallery that allows you to download all of your images and carry them with you on any device.

Will I get all of the images that you shoot during my session or wedding?

NO, to be blunt! To be honest you won’t want all of them. Sometimes it takes 2 to 3 shots to make sure the lighting and my settings are just how I want them. I delete all blinks, blurs, otherwise technically flawed images and give you only the very best of the best! Trust me.

Can we have all of the RAW images and so we can edit them ourselves?

Nope. No mam. No sir. I literally hand edit all images I deliver to you. Meaning that I perfect every image how I see fit to my style. I am just making them that much more beautiful for you.

How many images will we receive?

Depending on the collection you have chosen as well as how many hours I am there with you. You will receive anywhere from 400 to 700 images from your beautiful day!

How long will it be before I get all of my images?

For Portrait work I will always deliver your images within 2-3 weeks (unless otherwise stated). For weddings you will usually get one sneak peek the night after your wedding as well as a sneak peek album two weeks after your wedding. All of your digital images will be ready within 6-8 weeks (unless otherwise stated).

How many photographers will be at our wedding?

All of my collections offer 2 photographers in order to get multiple perspectives and extra shots of all of the details. I will always be the main photographer. I have several other professional photographers who work with me as second shooters.

How do we reserve our date for a wedding?

To reserve your date with me as your photographer I would draft up your contract, have you print, sign + send back the contract with the 50% retainer check via US Mail. Once received I would inform you and you would be in my books and we would start planning the engagement session!

Do I have to order prints through you?

I highly recommend ordering prints through my professional lab, but it is not required. The difference in quality is HUGE when it comes to ordering through a local printer and a professional lab. I encourage clients to always order through my professional lab, which you can do right from the online gallery I provide to you!

Did you go to school to learn Photography?

Nope! I am self-taught. I got my first DSLR camera when my husband was deployed and I wanted to take images of our baby girl while he was away. Not only images of her, but videos to keep him in the loop! I quickly fell in love. I then started to study and read books, blogs, articles. Trained like it was my job, shot with other photographers, then decided I would branch out on my own! It has been such a blessing.

What equipment do you use?

I shoot with Canon equipment – the 5D Mark III, the 5D Mark 60D (backup), 35mm lens, 50mm lens, 85mm lens, 24-105mm lens, 70-200mm lens along with other flashes and such!

Please let me know if you have further questions, I am an open book! Really.
